This month I want to share with you an e-mail I received after our November issue was mailed. Stacee has granted me her permission to print her words.

Hello, Just thought I would send you a note regarding the Editor’s Choice Winning Photo that appeared on your November cover. The young man in the photo is Jared, 13 years old and he is my son. After reading the editorial I thought you might enjoy the story behind the photo. Jared’s father, a very successful rodeo cowboy, was killed in a car accident three months before this photo. The college where his dad went to school was having a rodeo and did a tribute to him. Jared was asked to participate during the grand entry. It was a very emotional and moving moment for all involved. I still get tears and shivers every time I see this picture. I can only believe that you must have felt the energies from this moment. Thank you for sharing it with your readers.
